The Bonding & Wellbeing Scan costs £94 and includes a 20-minute appointment with a qualified HCPC-registered sonographer. The scan includes baby wellbeing checks, assessment of amniotic fluid levels and placenta location, baby position if far enough along in pregnancy, the opportunity to listen to and record your baby's heartbeat for a Heartbeat Bear, one printed image, one photo magnet, a Heartbeat Bear with your baby's recorded heartbeat, and all digital images emailed after your scan.

How long is the Bonding & Wellbeing Scan appointment?

The Bonding & Wellbeing Scan appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes and is performed by a qualified HCPC-registered sonographer.

What wellbeing checks are performed during the scan?

During the scan, the sonographer performs wellbeing checks including assessment of your baby's movement, amniotic fluid levels and placenta location. Baby's position may also be checked if you are far enough along in your pregnancy.

Can I hear my baby's heartbeat during the appointment?

Yes. During the Bonding & Wellbeing Scan, you can listen to and record your baby's heartbeat, which can be placed inside your Heartbeat Bear as a keepsake.

Will I receive scan images after my appointment?

Yes. The scan includes one printed image, one photo magnet and all digital images emailed to you after your appointment.

What happens at the Bonding & Wellbeing Scan appointment?

When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member of the Imaginatal team. You will be asked to complete a consent form and receive a copy of the clinic's terms and conditions. Additional information about your pregnancy may be collected so the sonographer is fully informed before the scan. You and your family can then relax before entering the scan room where your appointment will be performed by an experienced sonographer. After the scan, you can choose which images you would like printed.

What Happens At The Appointment?

You will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists.
You will be asked to fill in our consent form and will be given a copy of our Terms and Conditions.
We will also ask for some extra details about your pregnancy to ensure our sonographer and team are completely informed about the reason for your visit.
You and your family can then just relax before going into the scan room.
Your scan will be conducted by one of our expert sonographers.
After your scan you can choose any images you would like us to print for you.
