A Simple Way to Understand Your Health
Blood tests can provide useful information about your health and help investigate symptoms, monitor existing conditions or check specific areas such as hormones, thyroid function, vitamin levels, infections and fertility.
At Imaginatal, you can book a wide range of private blood tests without a GP referral. Your sample will be taken by qualified staff and sent to a laboratory for analysis, with a detailed report sent securely to you.
We also offer specialist testing, including NIPT during pregnancy.
FAQs
-
No. You can book a private blood test directly with Imaginatal without a GP referral.
-
Call our team and we can talk you through the available options, help you choose the most suitable test and complete your booking with you over the phone.
-
We ask all phlebotomy patients to make sure they drink plenty of water before the appointment, and there are also several tests that will require fasting.
-
We can normally see you within 24 hours' notice. We can also carry out out-of-hours appointments. Please call us if you need an appointment as quickly as possible.
-
Aim to arrive about 10 minutes early to allow for time to fill out paperwork. Though we always aim to be on time, due to the nature of healthcare appointments, we may sometimes be behind. If we were running late, it would not be more than 10 minutes late.
-
We will email you a written report of your results, normally within 48 hours. The results and any scan images will also be emailed to your GP.
-
Please drink plenty of water so that there is a higher chance of a successful blood draw. If we are unable to get a sample on the day we will rebook you for another day convenient to you
