After getting a (£400ish!) scan on bupa which booked me in at the wrong time and told me there's nothing wrong with me (because they booked me in the wrong time of my menstrual cycle) I was able to get a short notice appointment with imaginatal after my regular pains have started which showed PCOS.   • You can book online through our website or call us directly at 0800 640 4299. We’re open 7 days a week, 9am–9pm for your convenience.

  • Most scans take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on the type. Early Assurance and Bonding & Well-Being Scans usually take around 20 minutes, while 4D Baby Lux and VIB Gender Scans take up to 40 minutes. Our team always takes the time to explain everything clearly and answer your questions, you’ll never feel rushed.

  • Yes, all our sonographers are fully trained and registered professionals with years of experience in prenatal and general health scanning.

  • We provide a full range including Early Pregnancy Assurance, Gender, HD 4D Baby, Bonding and Well-Being, Women’s Health, Fertility, and Abdominal Scans, as well as NIPT and blood tests at Leicester Clinic.

  • Yes, absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your partner and family. Our Leicester clinic is a warm and welcoming environment designed to make your experience comfortable.

  • You can have an early pregnancy scan from 6 weeks. It confirms your pregnancy, checks the baby’s heartbeat and location, and estimates how far along you are, offering early reassurance and peace of mind.

  • Yes! Most of our scans include print and digital images as well as video clips that you can take home or share with family and friends. If your chosen scan doesn’t include them, you can add photos or videos as an optional extra on the day.

  • If we can’t get clear results, whether it’s because your baby’s position isn’t ideal, you’ve come in a bit early, or the images aren’t clear enough, we offer up to three free rescans. We want you to leave with the clarity and reassurance you came for.

  • We understand this can be an emotional time. Our team will guide you step-by-step, explain everything clearly, and make sure you feel safe and reassured throughout your appointment.
